NYASA BIG BULLETS ENJOYS TNM SUPER LEAGUE
Nyasa Big Bullets enjoys TNM super league awards after the teams three members has been rewarded for their hard working from the event that takes place at amaryllis hotel.
The members are noted to be Gomezgan Chirwa who has received player of the season and defender of the season award, Babatunde adepoju who received K1, 000 000 for golden boot award after scoring 18 goal last season and Coach calisto Pasuwa as the best manager.
According to Malawi24, Chirwa has become the biggest winner at the event as he received 2,500 000 and two plots.
Patrick Mwangulu has been named Midfielder of the season and gets a reward of K500, 000 and a plot of courtesy of Ana a mmudzi for his performance.
Speaking with The times group TNM plc acting Chief Executive Officer Lloyd Gowera said the awards gala gives them an opportunity to reward and recognise categories of players, clubs and media.
“The end of every TNM Super League season is a time to look back at the Who’s Who of the local football industry in terms of players and media practitioners.
“On Wednesday, TNM will pay special tribute to the heroes of the just ended season by decorating and bestowing upon them the medals of recognition they deserve,” he said.
Nyasa Big Bullets retained the championship with 73 points whereas Blue Eagles were second with 63 points. Third-placed Kamuzu Barracks finished with 57 points.
